I'm in charge of the website, and its my job to update and maintain the site.

A very amateur gardener who can dig and harvest but doesn't know a lot about what to do in between except water occasionally.  All technical input comes from wife Linda who is a lot more knowledgable

I've lived in Buckingham since 2003 when a job move with Taylor Woodrow brought me to an office in Leighton Buzzard.

I grew up on SW London/Surrey borders with a family allotment (thick clay soil !), learning how to weed and hoe (not very well !) with my dad. After he died I carried on sharing it with my mum well into adulthood but the move here meant I was too far away to carry on there, so it was great to get my own allotment here, especially in a secure and friendly environment where there is such a commitment amongst the members !   

I pop up whenever I have a spare half hour to try and keep up with sowing/planting, weeding and cropping. My wife and three boys generally look on with some ambivalence so it is down to me to plan what to grow and then make it happen. The soil conditions do favour someone like me who hasn't enough time to do it justice - and the previous supply of free manure from the horse field was a real bonus.
